Im Rahmen des ARD-Projekts "Digitale Erneuerung" wird ein zukunftsfähiges, leistungsstarkes und integriertes Softwaresystem zur Distribution von Audio- und Videoinhalten ausgeschrieben. Ziel ist die Einführung eines Distribution Media Asset Management Systems (D-MAM), das als zentrale technische Plattform für die plattformgerechte Aufbereitung, Verwaltung und Bereitstellung aller digitalen Medieninhalte der ARD dient. Dies umfasst Inhalte für die eigenen Ausspielkanäle der Landesrundfunkanstalten, die ARD-Mediathek und -Audiothek sowie für externe Plattformen (z.
B. YouTube, Spotify).
