De RWZI Baarle-Nassau zuivert het stedelijk afvalwater van de kernen Baarle-Nassau en -Hertog en Ulicoten. De rioolstelsels van Baarle-Nassau en het Vlaamse Baarle-Hertog zijn onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden, waardoor al het afvalwater wordt afgevoerd naar één RWZI. De huidige zuivering is verouderd, en diverse onderdelen zitten tegen of over de technisch levensduur.
Daarom heeft het waterschap besloten om een nieuwe zuivering te realiseren ter vervanging van de bestaande RWZI. Een nieuwe zuivering te realiseren ter vervanging van de bestaande RWZI Baarle-Nassau.
