Die Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) unterstützt im Rahmen ihrer Entwicklungszusammenarbeit Partnerländer beim systemischen Auf- und Ausbau ihrer Qualitätsinfrastruktur (siehe https://www.ptb.de/cms/ptb/fachabteilungen/abtq/gruppe-q3.html). Eine besondere Bedeutung kommt hierbei der Beratung zu Qualitätsinfrastruktur für nachhaltige Wirtschaftsentwicklung und nachhaltige Wertschöpfungsketten, Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und Handel sowie Energie, Umwelt und Klimaschutz zu. In diesem Zusammenhang insbesondere der Beratung von Netzwerken, Fazilitieren von Stakeholderprozessen und Capacity Development.

Der regionale Schwerpunkt liegt aktuell in den Regionen: Nordafrika, Osteuropa, Zentralasien, Südasien und Südostasien, sowie weltweit zum Thema Capacity Development.
