Description
Die Wissenschaftsstadt Darmstadt, vertreten durch die Darmstädter Sportstätten GmbH & Co. KG, sieht vor, die bestehende, in die Jahre gekommene, Rollsporthalle aufgrund von erheblichen Mängeln durch einen Ersatzneubau am Standort der bestehenden Rollsporthalle zu ersetzen. Das Grundstück der bestehenden Rollsporthalle liegt am östlichen Rand des öffentlich zugänglichen Bürgerpark Nord.
In der Halle ist bereits heute der Hessische Rollsportverband zuhause. Langfristig soll auch der Bundesverband BMX in der Halle angesiedelt werden.
