Die NRW.URBAN GmbH & Co. KG beabsichtigt den Neubau eines Gebäudes einschließlich technischer Ausrüstung und zugehöriger Außenanlagen für die Unterbringung der Forschungsfertigung Batteriezelle (FFB) am Standort Münster. Hierbei handelt die Auftraggeberin treuhänderisch für das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen, welches das Bauvorhaben mit Landesmitteln finanziert.
Als Betreiberin der FFB und Nutzerin des Neubaus ist die Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V. (FhG) vorgesehen. Der Auftrag umfasst die Sachverständigenprüfung und Abnahme der elektrotechnischen Anlagen gemäß Leistungsverzeichnis.
