Description
Bei den zu sanierenden und modernisierenden Gebäuden handelt es sich um das klassizistisches Baudenkmal Herberzhäuser. Die beiden Häuser sind Teil eines Gebäudeensembles das 1832 als Wohnhäuser für die Brüder Herberz erbaut wurde. Die Häuser Nr. 1 und Nr. 5 sind im Eigentum der Stadt Krefeld.
Das Mittelgebäude Haus Nr. 3 befindet sich in Privatbesitz und ist nicht Bestandteil der Baumaßnahme. Haus Nr. 3 bleibt während der Durchführung der Baumaßnahmen in Nutzung. Die Gebäude wurden in Massivbauweise mit Holzbalkendecken errichtet.
Die Ausführung erfolgt zwischen dem Quartal 3/2026 und dem Quartal 3/2027. Die Maßnahme umfasst die Häuser 1 und 5. Beide Häuser erhalten je eine Brandmeldeanlage mit Aufschaltung auf die Feuerwehr.
Die Anlaufstelle befindet sich jeweils im Eingangsbereich. Die Technik wird im Kellergeschoss verortet. Bei der Installation ist besonders auf den Denkmalschutz zu achten.
