Samen met het Departement Mobiliteit en Openbare Werken (dMOW), de Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij (VMM) en Verhaert, willen we de ontwikkeling voorbereiden van een Digital Twin voor lokale overheden dat hen toelaat lokale mobiliteitsmaatregelen te configureren en de gevolgen voor routekeuze, vervoerswijzekeuze, congestie, voertuigkilometers, luchtkwaliteit en CO₂-uitstoot te analyseren. Deze uitdaging omvat meer dan één softwaretoepassing. Ze vraagt een samenhangend systeem van een gebruiksvriendelijk scenarioportaal, geodata- en netwerkvoorbereiding, mobiliteitsmodellering, data-ingest en kalibratie, koppeling met milieurekenkernen, schaalbare cloudverwerking en heldere governance.
