Die Elbkinder Vereinigung Hamburger Kitas gGmbH ist Trägerin von derzeit rund 200 Kindertageseinrichtungen in Hamburg und der Metropolregion Hamburg. In diesen Einrichtungen werden etwa 27.000 Kinder betreut und verpflegt. Zur Sicherstellung der Verpflegung der betreuten Kinder werden für die in den Kindertageseinrichtungen betriebenen Produktionsküchen regelmäßig Lebensmittel beschafft.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Ausschreibung ist darüber hinaus die Lieferung von Getränken, insbesondere Mineralwasser, sowie von CO₂-Flaschen. Das Los „Hygieneartikel“ umfasst insbesondere Hygienepapiere, Müllbeutel, Handschuhe sowie Einweggeschirr. Die Auftragsvergabe erfolgt in mehreren Losen.
