Die Ausbaumaßnahme zur Zweigleisigkeit des Planfeststellungsabschnitts 1.7 ist Teil des Projekts E.1631610009 ABS 38 München – Mühldorf - Freilassing und somit Element der Unternehmenspläne der DB InfraGO AG. Tiefgreifende Bodenverbesserungsmaßnahmen zur Ertüchtigung des Baugrunds im Bereich des Bestandsgleises und des Ausbaugleises sind notwendig, dafür werden geotechnische Untersuchungen benötigt. Ebenso erforderlich ist die Erstellung eines Bodenschutzkonzepts und Vorgaben für das Bodenmanagement.
