De Opdrachtgever wenst via een specifiek energieprestatiecontract – in casu een Building Performance Contract (‘BPC’) - de totale Gebouwkosten te minimaliseren en de CO2-uitstoot te beperken in een aantal van haar Gebouwen. De Gebouwkosten omvatten de energie-, onderhouds- en investeringskosten. In een energieprestatiecontract geeft de Opdrachtnemer (‘ESCO’) een aantal garanties met betrekking tot onder meer energiekostenbesparing en wordt hij via een Bonus-Malus systeem hierop financieel afgerekend.
De Selectieleidraad geeft verdere informatie. Deze wordt doorgestuurd naar de geïnteresseerde Kandidaat na ontvangst bij de Opdrachtgever van de door de Kandidaat ondertekende Geheimhoudingsverklaring.
