Noorderhart vzw wenst de medicatieopslag en -distributie binnen de huidige ziekenhuisapotheek te optimaliseren en te automatiseren, met als doel:

Hogere patiëntveiligheid door het uitsluiten van fouten in het medicatieopslag en -distributieproces (bijvoorbeeld fouten bij het wegleggen en de picking van medicatie in de apotheek)
Volledige traceerbaarheid van medicatie, van bij de inslag tot aan de aflevering. Hierbij dient voldaan te zijn aan alle huidige en momenteel gekende wettelijke vereisten (bijvoorbeeld FMD, MDR, …)
Hogere servicegraad door het optimaal inzetten van het apotheekpersoneel binnen een efficiënte, gestandaardiseerde procesflow.
