Description
The objective of the assignment is monitoring foreign marine species in Norwegian ports, early observation and possibly measures. Seagroing on ships is considered the most important way of importation for marine introduced species, and monitoring high-risk ports will provide a much better overview than what we currently have for which species come to Norway. The estimated value of the procurement is estimated to NOK 20,000,000 - NOK 25,000,000.
The Norwegian Environment Agency ́s budget limit for the monitoring programme is NOK 2,300,000 per annum. The budget limit in 2026 is NOK 3,600,000 due to an increased budget limit.
