Dans le cadre du lancement de la production à grande échelle de lutétium-177, une collaboration a été mise en place avec le SCK CEN, Centre d’étude de l’énergie nucléaire belge. Pour le transport de cibles solides irradiées vers le centre de production de radioisotopes situé au SCK CEN à Mol, l’IRE a besoin d’un conteneur certifié de type B(U) destiné à être utilisé comme conteneur pour isotopes médicaux.
