Het voorwerp van de opdracht is het vergaren, opruimen, verwijderen, transporteren en afvoeren van drijvend en aangespoeld hout, boomstronken en allerlei voorwerpen in en langs de volgende rivieren, met name op het watervlak, op de dijktaluds, gecontroleerde overstromingsgebieden, deels in de schorren en aan sluizen, duikers, stuwen, veersteigers en openbare loskaden. Deze diensten kunnen zowel van op het water als van op de oever gebeuren. Locatie:
- De Zeeschelde - van monding van de Beneden-Durme tot de monding van de Rupel te Wintam/Rupelmonde; - schorren en voorlanden.
- De Rupel - van de samenvloeiing van de Beneden-Nete en de Beneden-Dijle tot aan de monding in de Zeeschelde ; - schorren en voorlanden. De opgesomde lijst is niet limitatief. Naast de voormelde locaties kan de aanbestedende overheid dus ook nog andere locaties aanduiden.
