Nederland zit op slot, op een stikstofslot. Er zijn momenteel te weinig gegevens bekend over de uitstoot van ammoniak en stikstof. De provincie Groningen heeft hiervoor in de afgelopen jaren een meetpilot in Liefstinghsbroek uitgevoerd.

Hierbij hebben een aantal partijen een fijnmazig en uniek innovatief meetnetwerk opgezet en uitgevoerd. Hierbij is veel kennis opgedaan die de provincie Groningen, in samenwerking met de provinicies Drenthe, Friesland en het ministerie van Landbouw, Visserij, Voedselzekerheid en Natuur graag een vervolg wil geven in een uitgebreid meetnetwerk. Dit is een vervolg en een uitbreiding op bovenstaande meetpilot. 4.000.000,-
