De raamovereenkomst bevat de aankoop van gas geïsoleerde schakelapparatuur met een isolatiespanning van 40.5 kV, een nominale stroom van 2500 A en een kortsluitvastheid van 40 kA, 3 s. De schakelapparatuur bestaat uit een vermogensschakelaar, scheiding- en aardschakelaars, stroom- en spanningstransformatoren welke ondergebracht zijn in één metalen behuizing. Intern zijn één of meerdere gasgevulde compartimenten met het isolerend SF6 gas of een gelijkaardig gas.
De schakelapparatuur is voorzien van een dubbel of een enkel railstel.
