Via hun intercommunale Haviland wensen de gemeenten een partner te zoeken om zonnepanelen te installeren en onderhouden in hun gemeente. Zo willen de gemeenten de doelstellingen van het voorontwerp van het Vlaamse klimaat- en energiebeleidsplan invullen, evenals de duurzame ontwikkelingsdoelstellingen (SDG’s) vastgesteld door de Verenigde Naties zoals betaalbare en duurzame energie, innovatie en infrastructuur, duurzame steden en gemeenschappen en partnerschap om doelstellingen te bereiken. Via deze raamovereenkomst wenst Haviland één partij (burgercoöperatie) te selecteren voor de installatie en het onderhouden van zonnepanelen en het leveren van energie.
