Im historischen Veranstaltungszentrum „Aula der Wissenschaften“ soll zukünftig ein Zentrum für Wissenschaftsvermittlung entstehen. Das von 11/2003 bis 02/2006 generalsanierte Gebäude bildet mit den angrenzenden Gebäuden der ÖAW ein Ensemble im ersten Wiener Gemeindebezirk.
