Die Stadt Sankt Augustin plant die umfassende elektrotechnische Sanierung des RheinSiegGymnasiums (Altbau, Aula, Neubau, Sporthalle), um den sicheren, energieeffizienten und störungsfreien Schulbetrieb für mindestens 25 weitere Jahre zu gewährleisten. Die Maßnahme umfasst die Erneuerung der Starkstromanlagen einschließlich Mittelspannung, Haupt und Unterverteilungen sowie Leitungsnetze, die Modernisierung der Beleuchtung und Sicherheitsbeleuchtung auf LEDTechnik mit intelligenter Steuerung sowie den vollständigen Ausbau der Fernmelde und ITInfrastruktur mit GlasfaserBackbone, strukturierter Netzwerkverkabelung und zeitgemäßem Blitz und Überspannungsschutz. Die Planung erfolgt nach HOAI, Anlagengruppen 4 und 5, Leistungsphasen 19.
Nachhaltigkeit, Energieeffizienz, Betriebssicherheit und Substanzerhaltung sind zentrale Vorgaben. Während der gesamten Sanierung muss der Schulbetrieb ohne Einschränkungen und ohne Gefährdung von Personen aufrechterhalten bleiben.
