Description
Das Kreuzungsbauwerk (KrBw) Schwerte liegt zwischen dem Bahnhof Westhofen und dem Bahnhof Schwerte. Das KrBw überführt die Strecke 2550 über die Strecke 2841. Am Kreuzungsbauwerk Schwerte wurden die Widerlager in den vergangenen Jahren als Dauerbauwerke erneuert.
Auf den neuen Widerlagern sind zurzeit zwei Hilfsbrücken in Betrieb, die als Zwischenlösung dienen. Die Hilfsbrücken müssen wieder ausgebaut werden. Dafür werden neue Überbauten als Dauerbauwerke eingebaut.
Die Überbauten sind als Trogbrücken mit dickem Fahrbahnblech geplant (Dickblechbrücken). Für jedes Gleis wird ein Einfeldträger aus Stahl hergestellt. Die Stützweite beläuft sich jeweils auf ca. 26,1 m.
Die Überbauten werden im Werk vorgefertigt, in jeweils drei Segmenten auf die Baustelle geliefert und dort verschweißt.
