Description
Das in den 80er Jahren errichtete Hallenbad in Saarburg wurde durch das Hochwasser 2024 überflutet und massiv beschädigt. Voruntersuchungen haben ergeben, dass aufgrund des Platzmangels im Bestand und der notwendigen Eingriffstiefe ein Ersatzneubau sinnvoller ist als eine Generalsanierung. Durch einen Kombibadbetrieb unter Einbeziehung des vorhandenen Frei- bades sollen die Voraussetzungen geschaffen werden das Bad zukünftig als Kombibad aus Hallenbad und Freibad zu betreiben.
Um den besten Entwurf auf Basis des Raum- und Funktionsprogramms zu finden, wurde ein Realisierungswettbewerb durchgeführt. Nachdem abgeschlossenen RPW-Wettbewerb erfolgt nun das Verhandlungsverfahren mit dem 1. Preisträger.
