Het Strategisch Plan Ruimte voor Water Dendervallei, dat werd opgemaakt via een proces van intensief onderzoek en participatie, legt de krachtlijnen vast voor de aanpak van de overstromingsproblematiek vanuit de Dender, zowel bij regelmatige (T1) als uitzonderlijke overstromingen (T100).
