UZ Leuven vervult al sedert jaren via haar dienst Radiotherapie-Oncologie een prominente rol in de behandeling van kanker. In het kader van de verdere uitbouw van deze dienst zal UZ Leuven overgaan tot het vervangen van 2 lineaire versnellers en aankoop van een oplossing voor een geaccelereerde adaptieve radiotherapie workflow op basis van de bestaande of nieuw geïnstalleerde lineaire versnellers. Daarnaast maakt de vernieuwing van de inrichting van de bestralingsbunkers voor de nieuwe versnellers en vervanging van de bestaande bunkerdeuren eveneens deel uit van de opdracht.
