Naar aanleiding van de start van de spoorwerkzaamheden ikv tramonderbreking te Gent voor het Project Gebroeders Desmetstraat en Project Poperingestraat en wegens voertuigentekorten met chauffeur is er nood om gelede bussen met chauffeur te huren vanaf september 2025. De werken zullen gebeuren in twee fases: Fase 1: met vermoedelijke startdatum : vanaf 1 september 2025 tot einde fase 1 (actueel voorziene einddatum is 2026, maar kan eventueel ook uitlopen) ; met omleiding in de Morekstraat; Benodigde voertuigen met chauffeur: op weekdagen: 4 gelede bussen op vakantiedagen: 2 gelede bussen op zaterdag-en zondag: 2 gelede bussen Voor Fase 1 zijn er max. 4 gelede bussen (weekdag) + chauffeur nodig. Fase 2: van januari 2027 tot eind december 2028; na beëindiging omleiding in de Morekstraat; Benodigde voertuigen met chauffeur: op weekdagen: 3 gelede bussen op vakantiedagen: 1 gelede bus op zaterdag -en zondag: 1 gelede bus
