Maria Middelares is een vzw die bestaat uit twee ziekenhuizen, AZ Maria Middelares Gent & AZ Sint Vincentius Deinze, en twee medische centra (te Gentbrugge en te Aalter). Sinds januari 2024 is het ziekenhuis gestart met de uitbouw van een nieuw logistiek en facilitair platform in Nazareth. Voor dit logistiek platform is er een masterplan uitgewerkt dat verschillende zorg-ondersteunende diensten een plaats moet geven in de bestaande gebouwen.
Deze diensten kunnen zo gecentraliseerd worden en maken tegelijk plaats vrij in de ziekenhuizen voor zorgfuncties. In totaal zullen er twee (2) afdelingen samenkomen op de site in Nazareth:
- Centraal magazijn beheer (steriel & niet-steriele goederen)
- Distributie apotheek Deze opdracht betreft de levering, implementatie en ondersteuning van een zoveel als mogelijk geautomatiseerde oplossing voor het identificeerbaar en scanbaar maken van alle medicatie die binnen Maria Middelares vzw wordt toegediend, tot op het niveau van de eenheidsdosis. Hierbij gaat bijzondere aandacht uit naar de integratie in de bestaande logistieke en farmaceutische softwareomgeving van onze ziekenhuizen en het facilitaire en logistieke platform De Prijkels. De gewenste oplossing moet bijdragen aan het verhogen van de traceerbaarheid, veiligheid en efficiëntie van de medicatieverstrekking binnen onze organisatie. Cruciaal hierbij is het vermogen om elke eenheidsdosis op een uniforme en gestandaardiseerde wijze te kunnen identificeren en scannen. De oplossing moet breed inzetbaar zijn en geschikt voor diverse medicatievormen, waaronder:
- Vaste orale vormen (bv. tabletten, comprimés)
- Bruistabletten
- Poeders in zakjes
- Suppo’s
- Multidoses (bv. inhalatoren, oog-/oor-/neusdruppels, siropen, insulinepennen, etc.)
- Infusies
- ... Voor elk van deze medicatievormen wordt een passende, bij voorkeur geautomatiseerde methode verwacht waarmee ze op eenheidsdosisniveau identificeerbaar (specialiteitsnaam, stofnaam, dosis en vervaldatum) en scanbaar (barcode) gemaakt worden. Specifiek voor vaste orale vormen (zoals tabletten en comprimés) geldt dat deze in hun originele blisterverpakking moeten blijven. Oplossingen die het ontblisteren omvatten, worden niet aanvaard. De aangeboden oplossing moet de mogelijkheid bieden om compatibel te zijn en te koppelen met volgende softwaresystemen:
- Een WMS-systeem
- De PIC-software van BD Rowa
