Deze werken vinden plaats t.h.v. Middelkerke; vanaf Joseph Casselaan/kruispunt Paul de Smet de Naeyerstraat - tot het begin van de zeedijk N34 De opdracht betreft:
- het aanleggen van een nieuw tramspoor met asverschuiving, het vernieuwen van de steenslagfundering, wachtbuizen en trekputten
- de nieuwe trambedding zal deels uitgevoerd worden met een groene bedding
- het vernieuwen van een kruising
- het plaatsen van nieuwe halte en deze voorzien van alle uitrustingen ten behoeve van de reizigers
- het vernieuwen van de volledige bovenleiding, incl. trammasten
