WZC Meulenbroek bestaat uit 164 woongelegenheden waarvan 5 kortverblijven bestaande uit 4 verpleegafdelingen. Overeenkomstig de Wet Overheidsopdrachten houdt het volgen van de procedure geen verplichting in tot het toewijzen van de opdracht. De aanbestedende overheid kan zowel afzien van het gunnen van de opdracht als de procedure herbeginnen, desnoods op een andere wijze.
Duur van de opdracht De opdracht loopt over een periode van 6 jaar, met als voorziene aanvangsdatum 14 februari 2026. Deze aanvangsdatum is onder voorbehoud en wordt pas definitief bevestigd in de sluitingsbrief die na gunning wordt verzonden. Van zodra de maximale waarde van deze opdracht bereikt wordt, wordt, ongeacht of de looptijd reeds is bereikt of niet, de opdracht stopgezet wegens overschrijding van deze maximale waarde.
Opzegging Het bestuur kan eenzijdig een einde stellen aan het lopende contract door uiterlijk twee maanden voor de jaarlijkse vervaldag een aangetekend schrijven te richten aan de leverancier. Bij tussentijdse beëindiging van het contract volgens de hoger vermelde procedure, kan geen van beide partijen aanspraak maken op enige schadevergoeding, van welke aard ook.
