AG Culturele Instellingen Antwerpen/Erfgoed wenst voor de organisatie, planning en uitvoering van kunsttransporten voor tentoonstellingen, evenementen en presentaties een beroep te doen op een deskundige partner (art handler) die op gepaste wijze het transport van kostbare en delicate erfgoedobjecten kan verzorgen. De opdracht omvat onder andere (louter ter voorbeeld):
- Het ophalen van erfgoedobjecten bij diverse bruikleengevers of andere musea (zowel intern als extern) en het opstellen ervan.
- Het correct inpakken van de tentoongestelde kunstobjecten.
- Het terugbrengen van de kunstobjecten naar de bruikleengever of andere musea.
- Het (organiseren van) transport. Dit kan betrekking hebben op land-, lucht-, water- en/of treintransport.
- De volledige administratieve afhandeling (vergunningen, douanedocumenten,…)
- Management en ondersteuning van de begeleiders (vervoer, verblijf,…)
- Het afsluiten van de vereiste verzekeringen en het afhandelen van eventuele schadedossiers.
- De deelopdracht kan tevens een verplicht plaatsbezoek bevatten.
