Een flexibele drempel is een verkeersobstakel dat speciaal is ontworpen om flexibel te reageren op de belasting van voertuigen, met als doel het gewone verkeer te vertragen. Een flexibele drempel ziet eruit als een gewone drempel, maar heeft een flexibele rijplaat. Voor zwaar verkeer zoals bussen, vrachtwagens en brandweerwagens wordt de rijplaat vlak, terwijl het voor licht verkeer zich gedraagt als een gewone drempel.
Om verkeersveiligheidsmaatregelen te kunnen realiseren, is de Stad Antwerpen op zoek naar een leverancier die de flexibele verkeersdrempels, zoals beschreven in de technische bepalingen, kan leveren, plaatsen en onderhouden.
