Dit contract betreft een raamovereenkomst met één onderneming met verschillende deelopdrachten (in overeenstemming met de meetstaat) met een looptijd van 10 jaar, tweemaal verlengbaar met een periode van 5 jaar, voor de implementatie, integratie en het onderhoud van de luchthavenbrede bagagebesturingssoftware (AWBC). Het AWBC-systeem is een gecentraliseerd softwareplatform dat fungeert als het zenuwcentrum van het Bagageafhandelingssysteem (BHS) van BAC. Het biedt diensten om diverse IT- en OT-systemen (sorters, load cells, …) te integreren, gegevens uit te wisselen tussen systemen voor het sorteren van bagage, het beheren van batchverwerking, en toezicht en beheer te bieden over de volledige bagageafhandeling binnen de luchthaveninfrastructuur.
Het hoofddoel is het verkrijgen van een oplossing voor de implementatie, levering en werking van het centraal systeem van de AWBC. De AWBC-software stelt BAC in staat om:
- te beschikken over een nieuw, toekomstbestendig, gecentraliseerd bagagecontrolesysteem
- de bestaande sorteermachines te kunnen integreren in het nieuwe platform
- een onderhoudscontract te hebben ter ondersteuning van deze oplossing
