De V-test® (www.vtest.be) is een gratis online vergelijkingstool voor energiecontracten. Een gebruiker kan hier prijzen en andere karakteristieken vergelijken van alle elektriciteits- en aardgascontracten aangeboden door de energieleveranciers actief in Vlaanderen. Op 11 januari 2022 lanceerde de Vlaamse Nutsregulator een nieuwe versie van de V-test® en de achterliggende productendatabank.

In die databank worden de details van alle contractversies bewaard, zoals prijzen, kortingen, opties, …. De productendatabank vormt het hart van de V-test® en is de unieke databron voor alle statistieken die we op www.vlaamsenutsregulator.be/energiemarkt-cijfers publiceren over prijzen en contracten, voor informatie die we maandelijks overmaken aan de indexcommissie, …. Deze opdracht omvat enerzijds het onderhouden en beheren van het bestaande V-test®-systeem en achterliggende productendatabank.

Daarnaast kan de Vlaamse Nutsregulator tijdens de looptijd van deze opdracht bijkomende functionaliteiten implementeren, die vervolgens ook moeten onderhouden en beheerd worden.
