Description
De opdracht omvat hoofdzakelijk: Het huren, op afroep, van botsabsorbeerders en/of uitvoeren van beperkte reparaties en handelingen (door een werkliedenploeg) op alle wegen in het beheer van de afdeling Wegen en Verkeer West-Vlaanderen die bijdragen tot de veiligheid van de weggebruikers en de werknemers die deze reparaties en handelingen uitvoeren. De opdrachtgevende overheid wil botsabsorbeerders inzetten bij het uitvoeren van zijn dagelijkse taken, bij oproepen o.a. door de Politie, bij instandhouding van de functie van de wegen en bij calamiteiten als beheerder van het wegennet. Dit betekent o.a. dat de personeelsleden die moeten stoppen op de weg of pechstrook voor het uitvoeren van inspecties, controles of kleine onderhoudsreparaties kunnen gebruik maken van een beveiliging met botsabsorbeerders.
In het kader van deze opdracht kan er ook gevraagd worden over te gaan tot reparatie van o.a. (plaatselijk) putten in het wegdek of andere beperkte handelingen om het in stand houden van de functie en veiligheid van de weg
