De Stad Gent wenst gebruik te maken van de juridische dienstverlening van gerechtsdeurwaarders. Het betreft door gerechtsdeurwaarders verleende juridische diensten voor debiteurenbeheer zoals o.m. het optreden als gerechtsdeurwaarder met betrekking tot de gedwongen invordering middels dwangbevel of het uitvoeren van ad hoc opdrachten aangaande de hierna vermelde types vorderingen ten behoeve van de Stad Gent inclusief Politiezone Gent, het OCMW Gent en de Brandweerzone Centrum. De opdracht omvat de fase van gerechtelijke invordering die een aanvang neemt na de overdracht van een uitvoerbare titel, zoals o.m. het dwangschrift of het dwangbevel, aan de gerechtsdeurwaarder met het oog op de gedwongen invordering van de openstaande vordering.
Omwille van een kostenbeperkende visie start de tussenkomst van de gerechtsdeurwaarder met een aanpak waarbij deze een bemiddelende rol aanneemt van waaruit er verschillende meetbare actieve inspanningen geleverd worden om de schuldenaar te bewegen om tot regeling van de schuld over te gaan met zo min mogelijk bijkomende kosten. De opdracht heeft betrekking op debiteuren met een hoofdverblijfplaats in België.
