Deze opdracht omvat de verwerking (storten) van de ingezamelde afvalfractie 'hechtgebonden asbestafval' afkomstig vanop dertien recyclageparken en bronophaling aan huis uit de regio MIROM Roeselare. Bronophaling is de ophaling van asbest in plaatzakken of containers met inliner aan huis. Particulieren, verenigingen, KMO's, landbouwers,...kunnen afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid asbest die ze wensen te verwijderen, via deze dienstverlening plaatzakken aankopen of een container bestellen, om deze aan huis te laten ophalen door MIROM Roeselare.
Voor de organisatie van de bronophaling heeft de opdrachtgever een projectsubsidie met een maximaal vastgelegd subsidiebedrag gekregen van OVAM. Dit project loopt drie jaar. De eindtermijn van dit project wordt vervroegd mocht deze projectsubsidie uitgeput zijn.
Deze dienstverlening wordt aangeboden aan de gemeenten en steden gelegen in het werkingsgebied van MIROM Roeselare nl. Hooglede, Houthulst, Koekelare, Kortemark, Langemark-Poelkapelle, Lichtervelde, Moorslede, Roeselare, Staden, Torhout, Wingene en Zonnebeke.
