De Aanbestedende Overheid is op zoek naar een leverancier die instaat voor de levering en vervanging van de huidige batterijen in de UPS - installatie in het Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg op de campus Sint-Jan te Genk. Dit project omvat de vervanging van 4 x 42 batterijen M12V155FT en 7 x 83 batterijen M6V200FT, gesloten onderhoudsvrije batterijen met een levensduur van “> 12 years Very Long Life” en Front Terminal aansluiting volgens Eurobat classificatie in AGM-technologie. De UPS – installatie heeft een netbitter koppeling met Riello voor de remote opvolging en dooralarmering.

Het ZOL beoogt met deze opdracht niet de vervanging van de sturing van de UPS – installatie of de bestaande IT – koppeling. De opdracht zal verder in detail omschreven worden in de tweede fase van de plaatsingsprocedure, zijnde de gunningsfase.
