Description
De onderhavige opdracht betreft het leveren en plaatsen van een ultrafiltratie-installatie en voorfiltratie voor de vervanging van de bestaande installatie voor de behandeling van RWZI-effluent tot infiltratiewater in WPC Torreele te Koksijde. De bestaande UF-installatie is de eerste stap bij de behandeling van het RWZI-effluent tot infiltratiewater. De ultrafiltratiestap wordt gevolgd door omgekeerde osmose (RO).
Het filtraat van de RO is het infiltratiewater dat wordt aangevuld in de waterwinning St.-André. De opdracht omvat ook de eventuele aanpassingen aan de voorbehandeling teneinde afdoende bescherming van de UF-membranen te kunnen garanderen. Momenteel bestaat deze voorbehandeling uit een step-screen van 1 mm, maar via dit systeem kunnen heel wat voornamelijk lichte en smalle stukjes passeren.
Deze hechten zich dan vast tussen de membraanvezels, wat leidt tot schade aan de vezels.
