De belangrijkste doelstelling is het operationaliseren van de visie visie ‘OPEN Ruimtenetwerk in en rond Brussel’ in de projecten en instrumenten van de verschillende partners (RPA, RUP, landinrichtingsplannen, gebiedsprogramma’s, lokale projecten, bijkomende oppervlakte toegankelijk groen, bos, Brussels Natuurplan, Groen Netwerk, Brussels Ecologisch Netwerk, vergunningenbeleid,...) in samenwerking met lokale besturen, gebruikers, investeerders en eigenaars van open ruimte gebieden. L’objectif principal est de concrétiser la vision du « Réseau d’espaces ouverts à Bruxelles et aux alentours » dans les projets et instruments des différents partenaires (RPA, RUP, plans d’aménagement du territoire, programmes territoriaux, projets locaux, espaces verts accessibles supplémentaires, forêts, Plan Nature de Bruxelles, Réseau Vert, Réseau Écologique de Bruxelles, politique d’autorisation,...) en collaboration avec les collectivités locales, les usagers, les investisseurs et les propriétaires d’espaces ouverts.
