Description
Imec gebruikt verschillende lithografiescanners en metrologietools in zijn 300 mm cleanroom, die allemaal met elkaar verbonden zijn via een gespecialiseerd dataplatform. Dit platform ondersteunt essentiële softwaretoepassingen die gericht zijn op het verhogen van de productiviteit, het optimaliseren van de opbrengst en patroonvorming, het stabiliseren van de overlay en focus, en het centraal opslaan van proces- en metrologiegegevens. Het huidige platform, het Litho Control Platform (LCP), is officieel ‘end of service’ verklaard en moet worden vervangen door het Virtual Compute Platform (VCP).
Deze upgrade is technisch noodzakelijk om de continuïteit, ondersteuning en toekomstige schaalbaarheid van de bestaande installaties te waarborgen.
