Description
VSO OLS de Recon, staat op de lijst met scholen die recht hebben op vervangende nieuwbouw binnen de gemeente Rotterdam. OLS de Recon is een school voor Voortgezet Speciaal Onderwijs voor langdurig zieke leerlingen. Elke leerling heeft een specifieke zorgbehoefte en medische problematiek.
Het huidige schoolgebouw is gesitueerd aan de Dordtsestraatweg 472 te Rotterdam, en voldoet niet meer aan de eisen en wensen van OLS de Recon, zowel (klimaat-) technisch als ruimtelijk functioneel gezien. De vervangende nieuwbouw wordt in totaal 2.081 m2 BVO, verdeeld over twee evenredige lagen. Een speciaal onderwijsconcept waar onderwijs en zorg samenkomen en de huisvesting een belangrijke rolt speelt om een gezonde en stimulerende omgeving te faciliteren voor deze doelgroep. 2080
