Noorderhart vzw wenst de medicatieopslag en -distributie binnen de huidige ziekenhuisapotheek te optimaliseren en te automatiseren, met als doel:
- Hogere patiëntveiligheid door het uitsluiten van fouten in het medicatieopslag en -distributieproces (bijvoorbeeld fouten bij het wegleggen en de picking van medicatie in de apotheek)
- Volledige traceerbaarheid van medicatie, van bij de inslag tot aan de aflevering. Hierbij dient voldaan te zijn aan alle huidige en momenteel gekende wettelijke vereisten (bijvoorbeeld FMD, MDR, …)
- Hogere servicegraad door het optimaal inzetten van het apotheekpersoneel binnen een efficiënte, gestandaardiseerde procesflow.
