De verschillende universiteiten en hogescholen hebben in het kader van Elektron vzw overeenstemming bereikt omtrent het sluiten van een nieuwe vierjarige overeenkomst (2023-2026) met Elsevier voor de toegang tot de portefeuille van elektronische tijdschriften (packagedeal) en elektronische boeken. Elsevier is de unieke leverancier terzake. Elektron vzw sloot met Elsevier ook een nieuwe vierjarige overeenkomst af voor toegang tot de bibliografische databank Scopus.
Ook voor deze databank is Elsevier de enige aanbieder.
