Le marché a pour objectif de qualifier un capteur de courant à fibre optique (FOCS) pour qu'il puisse fonctionner dans un environment nucléaire. Le terme « environnement nucléaire » se réfère ici à des conditions externes spécifiques d'exposition auxquelles le FOCS sera exposé et ensuite testé.
