De opdracht omvat het voorstellen van een functioneel, duurzaam, doelgroepgericht ((groot)ouders met kinderen), uitnodigend en tijdloos concept voor een familiebibliotheek met ruimte voor een opstelling van 25 000 à 30 000 boeken (60% jeugd en 40% volwassen) en verschillende hoeken met zit- en werkruimte die worden ingericht met
- (Bibliotheek)meubilair uit een catalogus (rekken, bakken, tafeltjes, stoelen, poefjes, balie,…)
- Extra maatwerk (rekken aan ramen voorzijde, speelse en functionele inkleding tussen rekken (poefje, gordijntje,..),….)
- Aangepaste sfeerverlichting (vereiste optie)
- Signalisatie (vereiste optie). In het concept en bijhorende oplossingen voor de verschillende te leveren onderdelen moet rekening gehouden worden met de plaatsing van de nodige IT-voorzieningen, RFID-apparatuur en het functioneren van een open bibliotheeksysteem waarin bemande en onbemande openingsuren elkaar afwisselen.
