Deze overheidsopdracht betreft het afsluiten van een overeenkomst met één enkele opdrachtnemer voor het leveren, integreren, onderhouden en ondersteunen van een cloudgebaseerd (SaaS) Enterprise Videoplatform ten behoeve van de Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Het platform is in de eerste plaats bestemd voor grootschalige lesopnames (lecture capture), beheer, videobewerking, beveiligde distributie en streaming van educatieve videocontent naar studenten. De VUB beschikt momenteel over een Enterprise videoplatform dat diep verankerd is in de dagelijkse academische en onderwijskundige werking.

Om de continuïteit van het onderwijs te garanderen, kapitaalverlies op bestaande hardware-investeringen te voorkomen en de administratieve en operationele overlast voor het docentenkorps te minimaliseren, stelt de VUB in dit bestek strikte technische en functionele eisen op het gebied van compatibiliteit, migratie en change management.
